Daming undertook his Master’s degree of music therapy at the University of Melbourne. He is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) of the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) which is an APHRA registered body. Daming plays the cello and guitar but has a focus on using voice and guitar music. Daming specialises in using fun and engaging activities to promote social interaction, build confidence support communication, emotional expression and quality of life. Daming believes it is important to support each client’s individual needs and work with families to achieve the best outcomes. With children his sessions are play based and activities are often joyful with secret learning. He enjoys working closely with caregivers so the fun and learning can continue at home. Daming is a warm therapist who is caring and passionate about the families he works with. Daming is fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malay.
