At Tilegne Therapy, we believe Dietitians are for everyone. According to Dietitian Australia “Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are university-qualified professionals that undertake ongoing training and education programs to ensure that they are your most up-to-date and credible source of nutrition information. They translate scientific health and nutrition information into practical advice, and practise in line with DA Professional Standards”. Our goal is to offer personalised guidance that helps you feel healthier, more confident, and more in control of your everyday choices.
We focus on more than food lists. We look at habits, routines, cultural preferences, and emotional well-being. With gentle, step-by-step guidance, we help you understand your body, improve your relationship with food, and develop strategies that create long-term change.
Tilegne Therapy Dietitians are registered with Dietitians Australia and we are a registered NDIS provider and were certified by GCC Global Compliance Certification. Our Dietitians understand that each person’s situation, medical condition and circumstances are different, hence we will assess and recommend strategies and solutions that are individualised to you.
Our dietitians will track outcome measures to track progress towards goals and to demonstrate improvement over time to ensure you receive the best care. Our dietitians also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and can consult with corporate organisations, food manufacturers, schools and health care facilities to develop nutrition communications, programs and policies.
Adults often juggle health needs alongside work, family, and daily responsibilities. We take the time to understand your lifestyle and any barriers you face. We tailor meal plans, nutrition education, and feeding strategies to each person’s cognitive, emotional, and sensory needs, ensuring that recommendations are accessible, respectful, and empowering. Then, together, we build a personalised plan that is realistic, culturally appropriate, and supportive of your health goals.
We also work with clients who are keen to embark on a plant-based diet, such as a vegan and or vegetarian diet, and help them ensure they are taking adequate amounts of certain nutrients like iron, B12, calcium, and omega-3 fats.
Nutrition plays a crucial role in supporting children’s development, learning, and well-being. Our paediatric dietitians offer gentle, supportive care for children with feeding challenges, intellectual disabilities, or who are experiencing:
Parents and caregivers often feel overwhelmed — and that’s completely understandable. At Tilegne Therapy, our dietitians support parents using a collaborative, family-based approach, helping you understand your child’s food preferences and build their confidence in trying a broader range of foods. In some cases, parents may also be referred to a speech pathologist trained in the SOS feeding approach to complement dietetic care.
For expectant mothers, our dietitians can provide antenatal and postnatal nutrition support, beginning with healthy pre-pregnancy meal plans to prepare your body for conception. Your nutritional choices now influence both your well-being and your baby’s long-term health. Throughout pregnancy, our dietitians ensure you’re receiving the right balance of nutrients for your growing baby. When it’s time for breastfeeding, we’ll continue supporting you through every stage to help provide nourishing, adequate breast milk for your child.
As we age, appetite, taste, and health conditions can shift, making good nutrition more important than ever. Our dietitians help older adults:
Tilegne dietitians work with you and your healthcare professionals to develop a tailored, age-appropriate, and culturally-appropriate feeding plan that supports comfort, safety, and well-being.
